Nothing like the website photos unfortunately! We booked a “bush site” we were completely away from the camp in a tiny area up a very steep hill (lucky we had a 4wheel drive but that struggled even in 4WD to get up there) we couldn’t even fit our car in our site. None of the bush sites were numbered so was very hard to find, so muddy and damp we couldn’t stay there we had to leave and find somewhere else to stay so lost over $300 dollars then had to pay for somewhere else to stay! Friendly reception but I would not pay 75$ for two persons + van again for not having warm showers included and standing directly next to a wetland (never had so many mosquitoe bites before).

Total disgrace, paid our money got to site and left. Only terrible site on our travels all the way from Queenstown. Person in office lovely. Rinkers yard in our minds. This is the most expensive site we have come across. Go to top 10 stayed there for three nights.

Callie and Ant were super helpful! I arrived during a town-wide blackout and they were friendly and accommodating. Felt safe as a solo female traveler too. Clean facilities. Also a good place to spot kiwi birds at night if you have a red light.

A beautiful nature campsite with lots of birds and, if you're lucky, kiwis. Definitely too expensive: $44 in winter for one person. Showers are an extra $2. Kitchen equipment is often unusable and broken. The price/performance ratio isn't good. Shawn is very friendly and helpful.

Incredibile vedere e sentire Kiwi's in entrambe le notti! Buon sito aperto tuttavia la principale delusione era che la maggior parte delle strutture erano fuori ordine, e alcuni sembravano essere stati così per un po ', anche udito un membro del personale lamentarsi... solo 2/6 lavatrici / asciugatrici funzionato, nessuno dei due forni / forni funzionato e uno dei due barbecue era fuori azione. Una posizione decente a Russell e i kiwi sono il principale punto di vendita, che è il motivo per cui abbiamo prenotato il posto!

Abbiamo prenotato uno dei siti alimentati. Shane è stato molto disponibile e amichevole al check-in e all'uscita. È $ 2 per la doccia ma le strutture sono pulite e pulite. Potremmo sentire i kiwi durante la notte, altri uccelli passeggiano in tutto il parco anche.

Un campeggio di natura super piacevole con personale amichevole. Non abbiamo mai visto una piscina così fantastica durante il nostro viaggio. Ci sono bagni adeguati, Wi-Fi, una cucina... E il meglio di tutto, con molta pazienza, siamo stati in grado di individuare il nostro primo kivi nella natura tardi la sera.

Bella campeggio con quasi una possibilità garantita di vedere kiwi! trascorrere due notti qui.

Non vale il denaro, è necessario pagare in più per una doccia e era ghiaccio freddo.Le strutture erano buone, offrono solo wifi minimo.
