Abbiamo soggiornato qui per due notti e abbiamo apprezzato la pace e la tranquillità. È proprio accanto al lago che è un bel posto per fare una passeggiata o immergersi nell'acqua. Le strutture sono pulite e ordinate, anche se leggermente datate. docce gratuite, lavanderia è $2, asciugatura è $3 per 30 min. Questo è compensato dal tasso davvero ragionevole.

Decisione dell'ultimo minuto come tutto intorno a Dunedin era pieno, apparentemente il nuovo anno cinese 🤔 avevano un sacco di campi alimentati e prezzi ragionevoli $ 40 NZD grande vista del lago e un "scegli il tuo posto" l'unico svantaggio era il tempo ma le strutture erano molto buone cucina 24 ore tutto in tutto buon valore per il denaro 💰

We stayed at a powered site for one night. It was $40 for two people. The ground was muddy, but you can eventually find a dry patch. The kitchen was a bit of an issue. The benchtop oven takes ages for the elements to heat up. They have induction cookers, but we only had old pots and pans. We borrowed some pots from other travellers.

La signora dell'ufficio era super bella :) Bagni puliti e docce calde illimitate. Abbiamo pagato 38$ per il sito della tenda e potremmo scegliere qualsiasi posto che volevamo. Molto spazio. Il campo è vicino a un grande lago e ci sono buone viste. Ci sono due cucine comuni e due bagni con docce. Ci sono lavatrici e asciugatrici disponibili.

If doing laundry here on a rainy day, just be aware the singular dryer takes 2+ hours for one small load to dry. There is not an extra charge for extra time if the machine is set to “auto dry” but something to be aware of if you’re trying to move on with your travels. There is an outdoor clothes drying rack, but if the weather is bad-plan ahead for a lot of drying time if using the machine. Overall decent facilities otherwise :)

Great phone signal and pretty decent WiFi. Wide range of things to use in the kitchen which was clean while I was there and even had a small library. Showers were small but had hot water, the pressure wasn’t crazy but it is a campground. Laundry has two washers and one dryer, coin operated but nowhere to get coins. $2 for washer, $3 for dryer. They do have outdoor clotheslines if it’s not raining. Office lady was veryyy nice. Many permanent campers there. Has a play ground if you have children.

Shower is a big problem at this site. Water is not really hot and very weak pressure. I would say the shower in my van is even better. I was charged $40 for two. The view is undeniably stunning but that does not compensate the fact that the site is not properly looked after. No reception, directed to the store to check in. Half of the site is muddy or flooded. A disappointing stay.

We had to stop here for the night because of strong winds and booked an unpowered site. You can choose where to park, lots of permanent RVs. Hot shower was good, didn’t use the kitchen facility. Dump station available! In better weather it’s probably nicer with swimming in the lake. Good cellphone reception!

Il posto è fresco, le persone alla reception sono adorabili, la cucina ha un sacco di attrezzature molto pratiche (forno, induzione hob) ecc. L'unico svantaggio è la doccia, non c'è pressione e l'acqua non è necessariamente molto calda.
