27 maggio - 28 giugno 2024 la pista è chiusa per manutenzione. Si può ancora camminare lungo il lago dall'albero wanaka, che è una bella breve passeggiata facile :)

Non guidare la strada fino alla Barn Pinch Farm. Guidare 300 metri dritto e poi a destra.

Ho visto "picnic" e ho pensato che sarebbe stato un buon posto per preparare il nostro pranzo nella parte posteriore della nostra furgonetta. Non davvero, tuttavia; la cosa pittoresca è a pochi minuti a piedi dal parcheggio della griglia. Che ha detto, proprio lungo la strada è una bellissima piccola spiaggia con un albero di ombra molto fotogenico accanto a esso. In autunno era solo esplodere con il colore. Molto bello, piccola area romantica. Non abbiamo camminato l'intero sentiero ma immaginavo che sarebbe bello e facile!

A few shady spots are available and the looks are great!

Man can only recommend ... We hiked from that Wanaka Tree until then, very nice walk 1/2 hour back. Do not forget to pour flowers on the way !!

Great spot for a swim !

Great spot for a picnic, wonderful view over the lake and mountains. We went for a cold but refreshing swim! Highly recommended!

Very nice flat walking track around the lake

Wonderful walking and biking track from Wanaka all the way to Glendhu Bay (13 km). Amazing views along the way. Plenty of seats to stop and take in the views and please - take some time en route to water the native plants that they are trying to grow!
