La strada è chiusa.Il percorso alternativo conduce attraverso una foresta, che richiede un permesso per entrare.C'è anche un segno alla porta della strada che afferma che solo i veicoli 4WD sono ammessi.

Ci sono mesi in cui la strada per il campeggio è chiusa. Vedi la foto. C'è una strada molto bella di grano tutto il modo per il campeggio. La zona boschiva intorno è ora molto apocalittica. Ma una volta che si è sul campeggio, è tutto a posto. Ci sono 2x2 lavaggio bagni con sapone e acqua. Un tappo con dr. acqua. Ampia area piatta per parcheggiare. Loop pista a Fork Flat. C'erano solo me e due camper. Molti locali con cani che sono andati per la pista loop per una passeggiata, hanno guidato in un fuori durante il giorno. Altrimenti et luogo.

Un po' nascosto e fuori strada, a volte non sei sicuro se sei nel posto giusto o se il posto è persino aperto, ma una volta lì è molto bello!! Grande area da picnic con un sacco di spazio, alcuni bagni lavabili che sono anche regolarmente serviti. breve passeggiata alla cascata (signposted). Non c'è rete cellulare sul sito stesso, quindi devi guidare indietro per 5 minuti.

A fantastic space with lots of room to run and play. Flushing toilets and a waterfall (5mins away) followed by an well maintained hour bush walk. Thank you DOC & Southland Council. Lovely to wake up to song birds.

Looks like you need to access from Dunsdale way - from the west you’ll run into a closed road.

Still closed but with no closed signs until you get all the way there…

Went today just to see what it was like - closed - looks like a stunning place to stay - glad we didnt take caravan up as no room to turn - maybe signs should be put up beginning of road when closed or open

We stayed last night and it was very busy with families and groups presumably there for New Years. Massive flat area surrounded by bush, nice and secluded with no reception. Road in is rough but okay, would stay here again.
