Un posto davvero cool da soggiornare!! Abbiamo parcheggiato per 2 notti proprio sulla scogliera e abbiamo avuto tutto per noi stessi. Si può camminare verso la spiaggia e controllare le grotte che sono al livello successivo! Locali molto amichevoli e abbastanza la comunità di pescatori, in giro sulle loro quad biciclette e tirando le loro reti. È vento ma non importa come la posizione sostituisce il vento. Puoi avere cani anche qui. Abbiamo apprezzato completamente il nostro soggiorno e sicuramente tornerà 😊

Cave beach is destroyed by cyclone gabrielle. But beautiful little caves are accessable via long beach during low tide.

Cave Beach was absolutely unreal. Have lived in NZ 28 years and this is up there with a favorite for me, especially at sunset.

Wonderful place ! Surely one of our favorites on the North Island. Black sand beach with lots of cellars in the cliffs. Do not hesitate to walk along the beach to the east, it's the most beautiful! As a previous comment, another version of Cathedral Cove in much wilder and much less tourists. It's definitely worth it!

Very nice place to go for a walk on the beach. Black sand and cave dug by the sea !! nice and very few people. Possibility to sleep on the spot!
