Piccolo campo libero di fronte al mare, su un parcheggio, molto tranquillo. Solo 2 posti designati al fondo del parcheggio, per veicoli certificati. Luoghi situati dietro la scatola di sabbia così ben protetti in caso di forti venti provenienti dal mare. Bagni sul parcheggio, nuovo e pulito con anche 2 docce da spiaggia. I 4 bagni all'interno dell'edificio sono chiusi di notte, ma quello fuori rimane aperto, così come le docce se necessario.

Un posto meraviglioso a cui piace il silenzio e la tranquillità

Questo è un posto davvero bello. Solo due spazi ufficiali per i camper di libertà ma, come altri hanno detto, c'erano un certo numero di furgoni lì prima di noi e c'erano ancora lì quando siamo partiti. Abbiamo mantenuto la regola del limite di 24 ore. Siamo stati lì per poco dopo mezzogiorno e siamo stati fortunati ad ottenere la seconda baia di parcheggio designato. assolutamente senza punti e docce. È un facile 5 minuti a piedi lungo la spiaggia per The Longbeach Tavern - un bar / ristorante davvero grande con un bel cortile e un meraviglioso giardino.

Arrived at 6pm on a Sunday and both freedom spots (marked by the parking sign) were available, although some people had parked in non-designated areas. That said, it didn’t seem to be a problem, as nobody came around to check the vehicle limits. The site remained quiet all night. The bathroom was also locked around 8pm and from other reviews, there’s apparently a 24/7 restroom but I must have missed it. Lovely spot overall!

Great little spot. Nice clean toilets open 24hrs, fresh water, lovely beach. 10 minute walk along beach to 4 square and lovely cafes and play ground. It was pretty busy. I believe only 2 campers allowed but there were atleast 10 the night we stayed with no issues

Many thanks to the local council for the quiet, clean, and well-maintained campsite. The sanitary facilities are excellent, and one toilet is open 24/7. The beach is right behind the dunes and is very wide and shallow.

Very nice campsite, nice toilets, open 24/7, legally just 3 vehicles allowed but many more stayed there without an issue. Nice beach.

Excellent free campsite with all the necessary facilities (2 showers, toilets, drinking water). Very good phone signal! Beach is a 30-second walk away. If all free campsites could be like this, it would be fantastic!

This is the best free campsite I've been to in the North Island with a bathroom. It has 5 bathrooms, water facilities, and the beach is right in front.

Very windy spot. Quiet and bathrooms are open all night and pretty clean. Open cold showers available (to shower with a swimsuit on) There were more than two camper van parked overnight as there was not a limited spot to park in.
