Lovely setting in the forest. We were sheltered from the wind despite the strong easterly wind. Facilities are basic, but sufficient - clean toilets, strong showers, and kitchen facilities.

Buon campeggio vicino a una bella spiaggia! Si ottiene anche caffè fresco al negozio di ingresso. MA: si deve pagare in aggiunta per le docce calde e è necessario avere monete 1NZD. Abbiamo chiesto alla reception se possiamo acquistare monete con la nostra carta di credito (e siamo stati assolutamente in ordine a pagare ancora di più) o se c'è un'altra opzione, ma il receptionista ha negato tutto e ha detto che l'unico modo è quello di guidare al prossimo ATM che è 15 minuti di distanza. (Che è in totale 30min di guida per una moneta di 1$...)

Remote, quiet and beautiful. 10 minute walk thru a dense pine forest to a huge, pristine beach. Close enough to town to make restaurants, shopping and groceries an easy journey. No cell service or WiFi at the campsites. WiFi available at the office.

Great location, facilities are all around super near to ours tent, clear and tidy. I had zero phone reception and lot of sandfly so be prepared

Fabulous location for peace, quiet, nature, beautiful beach and woodland walk, and powered sites (grass) spacious and level, but the rickety bridge access seemed unsuitable for a large camper van. Facilities a little primitive and basic, though showers did work well ($1 coin). Kitchen had no oven and power went out on all the wall outlets when using the toaster. Use of kayaks might be free, but broken paddles and rusty/wonky metal ladder on muddy river bank put us off. Little/no cell/wireless.

This campsite is large and gorgeous with a walk through the forest leading to a big beautiful beach. Beautiful sunset. We stayed in one of the powered forest pitches. Beware though - you have to pay (coins) for hot showers and there is no water refill for motorhomes unless you’re happy to fill the tank with non drinking water. This was something we wished we had known!

Ottimo piccolo trovare. Siamo arrivati dopo ore e le istruzioni dichiarato di prendere un sito e pagare al mattino. Essi avevano un piccolo foglio comodo che mostrava tutti i siti vuoti. breve 2min a piedi alla spiaggia che era bello e tranquillo. Tutte le strutture erano grandi e anche le docce fredde non erano così freddo!! Un sacco di spazio tra i siti che era bello anche, non si sentiva sopra l'altro! WiFi era disponibile alla reception.

Il layout del sito è attraente e spazioso e potremmo camminare attraverso l'antica foresta di pini alla spiaggia più meravigliosa in 5 minuti! Buon caffè da prendere dalla zona di ricezione e la signora più disponibile dietro la reception che è uscito dal suo modo di aiutarci con le località e la pianificazione. Grazie tantissimo!

Incredibile posto ! Abbiamo prenotato un vicino ma esteso per un altro dopo aver parlato alla reception. Il campeggio è piuttosto grande e ogni area ha una cucina che è bello. Tuttavia, l'unica camera fresca è con il sito alimentato, quindi non una tenda che sono solitamente quelli che potrebbero godere di più. Wifi disponibile accanto alla reception. Il negozio generale alla reception ti ha coperto con tutto.
