Il campo è bello in una giornata soleggiata - il fiume che passa, una grande vista sulle montagne nevose. Vale la pena l'11km di auto dalla strada principale, l'ultimo 1km di strada a grattacieli non è stato cattivo. Nessuna struttura, solo la natura intorno - abbiamo fatto un piccolo incendio utilizzando il legno.

Buon posto, ma nessun bagno.

Se sei degli Stati Uniti e hai usato il boondocking / campeggio disperso, questo posto è perfetto. Non c'erano bagni o vasche di spazzatura ma c'erano pace e tranquillità e un fiume bellissimo. Siamo andati qui durante il giorno per vedere il posto e fare un tuffo nel fiume e ci siamo pentiti di non campeggiare qui.

There aren’t any toilets or any signs at all

Only self contained campers that are certified. No toilets also no signs with information. Don’t camp on the river as the water rises when raining

Two gravel areas by the river, at risk of flooding. It rained a lot while I was there yesterday and there was no issue but was warned by the nice woman who came to check the self contained sticker that the water could rush in very quickly. No amenities at site (no water, toilet, trash). River looked like it could be nice but not in rainy weather. Really good public toilets in Whataroa, 12 min drive away.

This is just a gravel parking space without toilets, bins or signs indicating that this is indeed a campsite.

Nice spot by the river and good view of mountains. No phone reception, bins or toilets. Toilets are 10 min drive in town. Plenty of space. Gravel drive but nothing awful.
