After a long drive from Mount Isa, I arrived at this campsite. A friendly welcome. That's the least you can expect, considering they charge $60 for a powered site. The price is completely out of proportion to what's offered: outdated facilities (though reasonably clean). I would stay somewhere else next time, e.g. Barkly Homestead, or the campervan site near the Devil's Marbles on the way to Alice Springs.

A big challenge. An electrified fence and huge gate surrounded the site. Not a good atmosphere. Facilities very old and tired. Would not stay here, or in Tennant Creek again. This kind of approach does nothing to solve deep seated problems. Makes it worse
