Currently no camping possibilities in Herrmannsburg ?

This is a nice campground but they lock you in for safety.. Which is a little bit dodgy. They tell you to watch for aboriginal children and dogs in the park and to ask them to leave if you see them.. There is also a kangaroo sanctuary at the back and the amenities are really good.. Very noisy at night time in the town and you can hear it from the campsite. Overall it was ok!

Pleasantly surprised. Didn't look inviting from the outside, but good clean facilities and a brand new BBQ area. You lock the gates at night to stop wandering dogs etc.

Very nasty 'caretaker' running this place. I wouldn't bother.
