シャーロック川が少し影があり、夜間の停留のための素敵な小さな場所 - 道路の横の騒音でしたが、Pt Hedlandの24時間の産業騒音の後、7月初めに川は大きなスワン、スプーンビル、その他の水鳥でした。
Stayed one night went swimming with the swans and the ducks had a fire a lot of little bugs turned up about 8 which was annoying but all in all a good stop JW
A free 24 hour campground adjacent to the NW Coastal Highway on the banks of the Sherlock River. No facilities. Small dirt base campground (room for 4 to 5 vehicles only) on the banks of the river. Absolutely no facilities, must be self-contained. Suited only as an overnight stop.
Not too bad, lots of insects and very small but the view of the river was lovely.
Great spot after the bright if travelling fromPort Hedland, shade under trees. Black swans swimming in river. Need to be self-sufficient & respect it’s farm land beside a river. Best stop.
It's ok for one night. Noisy because of road train, close to highway. You can camp on both side of the river. If you're going north turn right just before or after the bridge. You can see a little unselaed turn. Ok with 2wd
Nice and shady down by the river but a lot of mozzies. Very small campground and no amenities (no toilets no tables) Noise from the road was not a problem. J&A ??
Awesome spot but can only fit a few campers. Good fishing if you love catfish. No toilets or bins. Drive in is not marked with any signs but on your left before the bridge if you are driving north. Doesn't say how long you can camp here. Well worth the stop. Not noisy at night but next to hwy but not that busy. There is a spot on other side of bridge but looked a bit tricky to get into but there were campers there as well
Great spot we fished&had so much fun yes it’s next to road so what take ear plugs yes no bins of course for goodness sake you take it in and you take it out who do you think is going to pick up your ————-rubbish stop whinging
GPS was spot on, but it showed it on the south side of the hwy, drive is on the north side, just west of the bridge over the river.
