Such a lovely walk! If 1,5h is not enough for you, there's a connection to the green lake walk (another 2,5h). So you can do both in one! Also lots of bike trails.

Beauuuutiful!!! 1hr track or 1.5hr with photo and appreciation stops. This is a must do - pack a picnic!

We didn’t do the walk but the lake is an amazing spot to swim and hang out!

Rather disappoiting. Part of the route goes alongside road and it was unpleasant. The part through the forest - nothing special. There was no signs or were misleading. We weren't able to finish the circle and went back after loosing way twice. Better spend this time swimming in the lake or go to redwoods

Not worth the drive out of town unless you're going that way anyway. There was way nicer lakes in NZ.

Nice shorter walk. Took an hour and a half. Part of it follows the road and some of the forks in the trail don’t make it obvious which path to take, but if you stick toward following the lake you can’t get too lost. Some massive trees on the back side of the lake are pretty neat too. PS: the unique cafe nearby is a nice stop for breakfast after the hike too! You’ll know it when you see it.

A wonderfully varied way. We enjoyed the short way very much.

Walkway partially flooded so you walk along the road part of the tour. Good swim in the lake but water was a bit cold
