Borderline scam. Priced as a discovery/big 4 camp ground ($48 powered), it’s a muddy patch with no facilities. It’s part of a wider complex so I think the staff actually don’t understand how bad it is. No kitchen. There’s a bbq that you have to pay for, showers you have to pay for. To rub salt in there is a kitchen that is locked to campers. Save your money and go to a free camp down the road. We got a refund after we said they’d lied to us with an advertised “camp kitchen”

Possibly the worst campsite we visited on Tas $48 for a powered site No access to a kitchen (backpackers only) don’t understand why? Toilets and showers generally dirty and shabby Laundrette ok No wifi or signal at powered sites Site more set up for cabins Restaurant and visitor centre very plush Staff were helpful General impression caravans / Motorhomes not really welcome - which is a shame as the nearby short walks are great and there are possums in the woods by the powered sites

Paid 48AUD for a powered campsite on a muddy uneven ground. Blocked sea view, place looks run down. Too expensive for the price, go else where!

45 Dollar unpowered,48 powered. No lake view,we decide to go to the free Campground at the other lake 5 km far from there

Poor value for money, ; Showers 1AUD extra and for the BBQ also 1AUD extra. The washrooms could use a thorough cleaning.

Overpriced rooms! Paid for a tiny room, and amenities were shared with the rest of the campground. Bed was comfy though and the heater in the 'backpackers' kitchen was working well.
