Road in closed due to flooding. Campsite caked in mud from the river. Lots of deep muddy tyre tracks on the grass where it looks like vehicle have gotten stuck. Avoid for now

Very quiet spot, 2 x drop toilets (a little smelly but what do you expect when free-camping?), had a nice quiet relaxing time before heading down towards Wellington

Just stayed here for one night. Lone drops smel horrible!

The spot itself was fine but nothing special. Seems like a spot locals hang out a bit, surprising amount of cars coming and going. Didn’t feel unsafe just not as relaxing as expected. 2 basic long drop toilets, no water other than the stream.

Great spot! Placid river, small bush walk to enjoy, fine toilets, and nice and quiet.

Lovely place peacefull and quite

Nice local council managed reserve beside river with two long drop toilets, ok smell wise (no paper when we were there). Plenty of good level grass base parking areas. Would stay again for overnight if passing.

Lovey, peaceful spot. We stayed 1 night and really enjoyed the river view and waking to the bird song.

Beautiful, quiet, free. Recommend, only for fully self contained. Long drop toilet. Lovely stream, bush walks, and lots of room to park.
