Just a few hundred yards up the beach from the fire station are lovely grassy spots for freedom camping. Washrooms too.

Reception is open from 9:00 to 17:00. An overnight stay with electricity costs NZD 40. Very nice location. The owners are friendly.

Great spot, can camp a few steps from the beach front. Owners were very nice. Facilities were a perfect for for the location. Sweet ol coastal kiwi town

훌륭한 키위 캠핑 지상 경험. 좋은 친절한 도움이 호스트. 옆에있는 낚시 클럽에 바와 잘 보관 된 가게가 있습니다. 우리는 너무 바쁘지 않았을 때 거기에있었습니다 그래서 약간 확산 할 수있었습니다. 샤워는 익숙해지는 데 약간 걸립니다.하지만 뜨거운 매우 깨끗한 화장실과 샤워. 우리는 거기에 있었지만 큰 파도와 함께 마법을 추가했다.

정말 해변에 좋은 장소, 놀랍게도 좋은 운영자, 작은 가게, 와이파이 완벽하게 작동합니다.

A great place to spend the night travelling to the remote east coast. Very small, some lovely camping sites right by the beach. Stunning views here. Friendly host Colleen.

Great spot and worth the drive. The owners were so lovely and helpful and really friendly. Beach was beautiful and great for the kids to explore. The fish and chips at the local however were not good. Frozen fillets from the packet. Gross.

We tried on the off chance on 28/12 and were lucky to get in. Lady owner was super nice and welcoming. We had a good spot overlooking the beach and close to all facilities. Akitio is lovely and very scenic. Delicious fish and chips at the takeaways van. Would highly recommend travelling here!

Great spot. Great people running the camp, clean n tidy.. Note 1 washing machine n dryer. paid for two adults a nite non powered .. Site full this time of year,we we’re lucky lol.30/12/21
