Ruihger beautiful place, clean toilets, good reception and you can check out when you like, we were at first somewhat confused how check-in works and other people then thought that you can simply transfer or the owner comes to us.

Nice sheltered bolt hole surrounded by mature trees. Pretty. Amenities good. Hard stand or grass. Looks like it could have been a public domain years gone by . Pahiatua sleepy wee town. Museum only open Sundays (April 2019) and the Railcar Museum there but not open as far as I can tell. Trip to Tui Brewery and up to Woodville worth doing.

Nice quiet stop with a hard stand. Used the free bbq to cook tea while kids watched tv in lounge room.
