Great 20 minute walk up a steep climb. Wonderful views back over Nelson at the top.

About 1km one way, steep climb to 135m. Took me 15-20 minutes to walk up with burning legs, 10 minutes to walk back. Nice views but nothing amazing when you compare it to the rest of NZ.

It is cool to go to the centre of the country but that would be about it. The view is not bad but not amazing (you attention will catch the port filled with ISO containers). The walk is quite steep but also short and easy. @chewypineapple_travel

The view is well worth the climb, it's a great lookout at the top!

Nice view from the top. Plenty of families walking up there also. Takes 20-30mins to the lookout.. You will have burning legs and get sweaty. But the view is worth it.

This trail is open and it has an absolutely beautiful view of Nelson and the surrounding mountains and sea
