We’ve stayed in a number of Top 10s as we’ve traveled down the North and South Islands over the last 8 months. Hands down, this was one of the best stays we’ve had across both islands. The staff were so incredibly friendly, the facilities were stunning, and the value for the quality was top tier. If you’re in this area we couldn’t recommend it more!

Great experience. Clean bathrooms. Most laundry machines working. Nothing to complain about really.

Nice location, more peaceful than FJ glacier, little walk up to the town with a few bars, food options, a little shop and fuel station. Facilities are fairly basic but clean and well maintained. Sites felt a little tight and needed manoeuvres if you have a big vehicle.

Beautiful location with views of the moutains. We were travelling with three young children so disappointed by a very muddy unusable playground. Powered sites are very narrow and low shower pressure. Otherwise a lovely site.

Would have been a more pleasant stay if: the bathrooms were properly cleaned (clogged drainage causes issues) and there was more than one functioning washing machine.
