Beautiful at sunset, can get very windy so take plenty of layers

Came here at sunset and built a fire (which you can do)! Was so fun and the best spot we had to watch a West Coast sunset! If you are travelling through here definitely come at sun down, it’s incredible.

Really interesting beach to walk along with lots of drift wood and some amazing drift wood sculptures. Well worth a stop.

Beautiful beach for a sunset. On the beach HOKITIKA is written in wood what looks pretty coll with the sun.

Cool fake ship at the end of the beach. It's there as a representations for the shipwrecks that have occurred there

Great beach with giant waves and lots and lots of driftwood. The sand is nice to sit on and there are many wood figures. It's fun to walk along the beach
