This museum and heritage center offers a remarkable glimpse into the region's whaling industry's rich and complex past. Established in 1978, the site showcases the fascinating history of whaling, focusing on the period from 1826 to 1978 when Albany was a hub for whaling operations.

Frenchman Bay Lookout is a popular tourist destination in Albany. It offers stunning views of Frenchman Bay, the King George Sound, and the surrounding coastline. The lookout is located on a hilltop overlooking Frenchman Bay. It is accessible by a short walk from the Frenchman Bay car park. Once at the lookout, there is a platform with seating where you can relax and enjoy the views.

Convoy Walk and Lookout on Mount Adelaide in Albany, is a must-visit for anyone interested in Australian history and culture. The walk and lookout commemorate the departure of Australian troops from Albany during World War I and World War II. The walk starts at the Longing, Memory, Sight artwork, which is a fragment of a letter sent by a soldier to his loved one. The walk then takes you through a series of 21 interpretive markers, each of which tells the story of a different ship in the first and second convoys. The lookout at the end of the walk offers stunning views of King George Sound, where the troops gathered on ships before departing for war. There is also a shelter at the lookout with interpretive material about the convoys. The walk is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It is approximately 1.5 kilometres long and takes around 30 minutes to complete. The lookout is accessible by wheelchair.

The National Anzac Centre Admission

The Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk is a must-see attraction for anyone visiting Western Australia. The Tree Top Walk is a 600-metre-long elevated walkway that takes you through the heart of the Walpole Wilderness, where you can see some of the tallest and oldest trees in the world.

The Tree Top Walk is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, and it's a great way to experience the beauty of the Walpole Wilderness from a unique perspective. As you walk through the canopy of the trees, you'll be able to see the forest floor far below and the treetops all around you. You'll also be able to spot a variety of wildlife, including birds, lizards, and even koalas.

The best time to visit is during the spring (September to November) or autumn (March to May) months. The weather is mild during these times of year, and there are fewer crowds.
