The Tuena Camping and Picnic Ground is a lovely flat spot along the babbling creek in the Historic village of Tuena. The camping and picnic grounds include an amenities block, barbecue, potable water, covered tables and is pet friendly.
Tuena is an old gold mining town. Fossickers still try their luck in Tuena creek or at the Abercrombie River a short drive to the north.
Pop into the local Parsons General Store for payment for your overnight stay and for information about fossicking. The Goldfields Inn is closed but it is the oldest Wattle and Daub pub in Australia.
