Crackneck Point Lookout

Uncover the secret of local whale watchers at Crackneck lookout. Make a beeline for this atmospheric lookout between May and August and you may just be rewarded with views of whales swimming past on their northern migration, and surfers can check out wave conditions.

Crackneck lookout is a fantastic place to take a picnic lunch and soak up the sunshine with your family while overlooking Bateau Beach, Shelly Beach and towards The Entrance.

If you park at Bateau Beach you can walk on the trail up to the lookout and if your feeling extra energetic you can carry on to the next lookout (about a 7 km round trip) which overlooks Forresters Beach.
