Lake Wabby is a stunning freshwater lake located on K'gari (Fraser Island), Queensland, Australia. It is one of the deepest lakes on the island, at 11 meters deep, and is known for its crystal-clear water and emerald green color. Lake Wabby is a barrage lake, which means that it was formed when a sand dune blocked off a creek, trapping the water behind it. The lake is surrounded by lush rainforest and towering sand dunes, creating a truly breathtaking scene.
