About

Coolmunda Dam is located approximately 15km east of Inglewood. It is a popular dam for fishing and watersports. There are no vessel type restrictions on the dam.

Accommodation is available at the Lake Coolmunda Caravan, Cabin and Holiday Park.

Coolmunda Dam is stocked by the Lake Coolmunda Restocking Group Inc.

The facilities at the dam include boat ramp, toilets, barbeques, picnic tables, swimming pool, tennis court and playground. Pets are welcome at the park. The Coolmunda Conservation Park has trails suitable for bush walking and mountain bike riding, and is a popular fishing spot.

The dam is stocked with golden perch, Murray cod and silver perch. In 2017/18, 99,659 golden perch, 15,000 silver perch and 500 Murray cod were stocked from SIPS permit sales.

A total of 1,356,167 golden perch, 164,275 silver perch and 148,106 Murray cod have been stocked in Coolmunda Dam from SIPS.
