Henry Ross Lookout is a popular tourist destination in Cairns, Queensland It is located on the Kuranda Range Road, approximately 10 kilometres from the city center, and offers stunning views of Cairns, the Coral Sea, and the surrounding rainforest. The lookout is named after Henry Ross, who was the foreman in charge of building the Kuranda Range Road in the 1930s. The road was built to provide access to the Atherton Tablelands, and Henry Ross Lookout was one of the many viewpoints that were constructed along the way.
Today, Henry Ross Lookout is a popular spot for visitors to Cairns to enjoy the views. The lookout is also a popular spot for locals to picnic, have a barbecue, or simply relax and enjoy the fresh air.
