Chookarloo Campground, Kuitpo Forest Reserve

Open between April and November, Chookarloo campground is situated in mixed Eucalypt woodland forest. It’s a large camping area with 23 campsites, picnic tables, untreated rainwater and a pit toilet. Camp fires are permitted in the fire pits from May- October. A few walking trails are in the area, the Chookarloo and Heysen. Camping permits can be obtained from the Kuitpo Forest Reserve Information Center.
