    About

Tcharkuldu Rock is a massive granite outcrop located in the Eyre Peninsula of South Australia, approximately 4 kilometres from the town of Minnipa. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region, known for its unique landforms, stunning views, and cultural significance.

The rock is covered in tafoni, which are honeycomb-like formations created by wind and water erosion. These formations are particularly impressive at Tcharkuldu Rock due to their large size and intricate patterns.

Visitors can climb to the top of Tcharkuldu Rock for panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. From the summit, you can see the Minnipa township, the Eyre Peninsula coastline, and the distant Flinders Ranges.
