Griffiths Island Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse located on Griffiths Island, Port Fairy, Victoria. It was built in 1859 to guide ships into the Port Fairy harbor, which was an important trading port for western Victoria at the time. The lighthouse is made of bluestone and is 28 meters tall. It has a focal plane of 30 meters and a range of 27 nautical miles. The lighthouse was automated in 1954 and the last lighthouse keeper left the island in 1960. Today, the lighthouse is open to the public and visitors can climb to the top for stunning views of Port Fairy, the harbor, and the surrounding coastline.
