About
Shell Beach is a beautiful salt water bay in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area. This beautiful beach is made completely of small shells, not sand. The bay is very shallow and extends for hundreds of meters at about 1 meter depth. The water is saltier than the ocean so people are more buoyant and float better. There is a toilet here and some interpretive information.
