In July 2019, the Baulu-Wah community (Violet Valley) completed the development of their new campground. 14 secluded campsites sit in a natural bush setting on the banks of the Bow River, just 36km from the entrance to World Heritage listed Purnululu National Park.

The location offers wide open grasslands, abundant wildlife and activities for the adventurous. The Campground is 13km from the Great Northern Highway and the access road is only suitable for 4 wheel drives and off road campers/caravans. Secluded campsites provide a remote, quiet place to camp with hot showers, flushing toilets and BBQ facilities.
