Hamelin Outback Station Stay

Historic shearing station, now owned by Bush Heritage a conservation organisation. The surrounding area has over 130 different bird species. A campground with unpowered campsite as well as accommodation in the shearers quarters . Self guided tours to learn about the history of the sheep station. Really quiet as it is at least 500 meters from the main road. Clean toilets and showers with hot water. Outdoor cooking facilities and BBQ, indoor kitchen that's fully equipped (no microwave). There is a laundry with a coin operated machine and 2 clothes lines. The common lounge area has a fireplace which is lit everyday in the winter. currently closed to bookings please check back soon
