Gasocoyne River Rest Area, Middle Branch

This is a rest area 192 km NW of Meekatharra and 230 km S of Newman. There is access on each side of the bridge and a small concrete causeway connecting both - if the river is in flood this is impassable and the site may also be muddy or wet. The track to the camping areas is dirt and in good condition. There are some fire rings here, a rubbish bin and picnic table, but no other facilities. It is shady and there is some seclusion in the bush, but it is still close to the highway. All types of vehicles can access this area.
