PLEASE NOTE: Lake Okaro campsite is closed for non self-contained camping. No toilet facilities are available at this site until further notice.
From Rotorua/SH30: Follow SH30. At roundabout, take 1st exit to stay on SH30, approx. 2.1kms. Continue onto SH5, approx. 13.9kms. Turn left onto Waimangu Rd, travel 3.2kms then turn onto Okaro Rd, follow to Lake; site located on Te Ara Ahi Cycle Trail.
Trout fishing & water skiing. BBQs, picnic tables, toilets, boat ramp.
Restrictions: Dogs must be on leads at all times. Boil water prior to drinking.
