You must have a permit before you set up camp. Apply at GDC online

There's no charge for a permit. You must comply with all the conditions on the permit and in the bylaw.

You need to manage your own waste and rubbish.

Camping is allowed in tents and vehicles - chemical toilets are required.

Maximum stay - 3 nights in a self-contained vehicle only, over any 30 day period. No causing any nuisance to local residents or other campers. Don't block or restrict access to the beach or private land. Leave your site tidy. Enjoy your stay.
