Pilot Hill Carpark

Large parking area operated by the Wairoa District Council for self contained vehicles only. There are 5 campsites available with a maximum stay of three nights. No tents are permitted on this site. A minimum distance of 2.5 metres must be maintained between campsites for fire safety. Campers are responsible for their own water and are asked to pack all rubbish out with them. There are toilet facilities here. No open fires are allowed. No structures are to be attached to any shrub or tree.
