Roys Peak Track is a renowned hiking trail in New Zealand's Wanaka region. Covering approximately 16 kilometres, this challenging trek ascends steeply through tussock grasslands, leading to the iconic Roys Peak viewpoint. 

Hikers are rewarded with sweeping panoramic views of Lake Wanaka and the surrounding Southern Alps. It's a popular day hike, attracting outdoor enthusiasts seeking a physically demanding adventure and breathtaking alpine vistas in one of New Zealand's most picturesque landscapes.

Eine nette 6-stündige Tagesrundwanderung. Am Anfang des Weges ist ein Parkplatz, aber diese Strecke ist beliebt, beeilt euch also bei gutem Wetter sonst ist der Parkplatz schnell weg! Einfacher Weg zum Gipfel, ihr begegnet vielen Schafen. Man kann 2$ entlang des Weges spenden, muss aber nicht. Auf dem Gibpfel gibt es einen fantastischen Ausblick über Wanaka, den Wanaka See im gegenüberliegenden Tal. Bei gutem Wetter kann man Mt. Aspiring am Horizont sehen.

Une belle journée de marche de 6 heures aller retour. Au début il y a un parking, mais cette piste est assez célèbre pour être rapide dans de bonnes conditions météorologiques, le parking se remplit rapidement! Chemin facile jusqu'au sommet, vous rencontrerez beaucoup de moutons. Vous pouvez faire un don de 2 $ pour le chemin, mais vous n'êtes pas obligé. Au sommet, vous aurez une vue imprenable sur Wanaka, le lac Wanaka et la vallée en face. Si le temps le permet, vous pouvez voir Mt. Aspiring au loin.

非常棒的6小时徒步。入口下面是停车场但是动作要快，因为这个路线很有名，天气好的时候很快就满了！上山顶很容易，你会看到很多绵羊。你可以捐献2块钱，但是非强制性。在山顶你可以看到Wanaka的美景。Wanaka湖和对面的山谷。如果天气条件允许，还可以看到远处的Aspiring山。
