Freedom camping in self-contained vehicles is restricted to the area highlighted in the map directly in front of the estuary area. Freedom camping in non-self-contained vehicles is restricted to the area highlighted in the map directly outside the public toilets and information centre. Tents are permitted on lake front only. Freedom camping is prohibited directly outside the information centre and toilet block, as highlighted in the map. No person may freedom camp for more than three (3) consecutive nights in any calendar month with only 6 vehicles/ tents allowed on each site. Check recent comments for more information from users.
