New Zealand has comprehensive Freedom Camping regulations and rules change regularly. Please use this site for national guidance and refer to the relevant council website to ensure you follow its bylaws.

Site information:

x3 Certified Self-contained vehicles at any one time.
24 hours maximum time limit.
6m maximum vehicle length.
Strictly NO FIRES.
Public toilet - open daylight hours, all year round, disability access, changing facility.
Beach access - please DO NOT walk on sand dunes as this is a sensitive ecological site. Please stay on the paths.
Boat ramp.
Coastal, busy, near shops/eateries/playground/splashpad, exposed in bad weather.
Dog-friendly (on-lead zone).
