A hidden gem situated on the Southern shores of beautiful Lake Taupo. We are 9 kms north of Turangi, 40kms south of Taupo and only 200 metres off SH1. We are adjacent to the beautiful Motuoapa Marina, and only a short walk to the renowned Licorice Café.

An ideal spot to relax after a day fishing the Tongariro River, a fun days skiing on Mount Ruapehu or hiking the Tongariro Crossing. The local ski fields are only 50 kms away. If you prefer the quieter activities this is the perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine and a book or enjoy a days boating on the lake. At the end of your day the Tokaanu Hot pools offer a relaxing place to unwind and are only 15 kms from the camp.
