Nice campground. Long drop toilets. Dont expect much. But at perfect spot in between nature a beautiful visit and wild life. Also the startpoint of the Clarke gorge hike(definitely worth going) 4km return with 9 water crossings but pretty simple. With a waterfall at the end. Also the startpoint of nicholl walk less impressive but caves a great to explore. No phonesignal anywhere in the park and you need a permit to drive in the park and an additional 6 AUS booking fee. Rijden naar de campsite tijdens zonsondergang was sensationeel! Wilde paarden tot schattige konijnen rondlopen! Verblijf op de blauwe waterhole campground 10 minuten voor de werkelijke waterhole. Vuur set ups, tafels en schone toiletten met papier beschikbaar. Afgezien van een reusachtige spider tijdens het diner alles was goed! Dit is ook de beste campsite handen neer. Vrijheid, natuur en vrede overal!!

Absoluut mooi landschap en rond, de camping kijkt uit over een vallei waar kangaroo's en mumbai's (paarden) kunnen worden gezien. We zaten in onze campingstoelen en hadden een mama en joey niet 1m van ons!! De mumbai's kwamen ook naar de camping na het donker en we spelen en wandelen rond op zoek naar puin. Zorg ervoor dat alles 's nachts weggegooid wordt als je niet wilt dat ze het overal verspreiden! Blue Waterhole trail & Clark Gorge trail zijn 100% de moeite waard, ongelooflijk mooi.

Mooie en rustige plek om te ontspannen, het blauwe water gat en het landschap is gewoon fantastisch om te zien.

Breathtaking! A very popular area with plenty of trees for shade. Three walking tracks of varying lengths and difficulties are accessible. Lots of native fauna including kangaroos, wallabies and emus. Brumbies will come into camp each morning and each evening. Drop toilets and camp fires.
