When you book, you still have to guess what a campsite looks like. This one is really surprisingly beautiful. The pitches are terraced so you can always see the lake with the pelicans, fish, ducks or canoeists. There are no motor boats or water skiers here, tranquility prevails. Everything shows that we are the guests in this natural environment. Don't be surprised if possums jump over your rooftop tent at night, frogs think they can swim in the toilet and kangaroos come to lie close to you. There is a covered BBQ and washing-up area and clean sanitary facilities. Maybe an idea to rent out canoes.

We stayed at the Lumely Hill Campsite. It's part of the Lagon Campsite. The restrooms were clean. And the view from the site was fantastic. It's a beautiful, quiet location. Kangaroos roam the site in the mornings and evenings. At lunchtime, they chill out under the gazebos. It's a lot for the site, considering there's not much else around.

Very nice and clean spot out of wind one word

Great spot, camp spots are allocated but situated really well and we loved the layout. Quiet and mostly very respectful people. Showers on a timer were a bit tough with a toddler but the water was hot. Friendly and accommodating people who look after it.

Lovely park, clean, no washing machines. Reasonably close to lake front and plenty of parking. Pity prices are hiked up for school holidays and peek times. 2 ppl per & water $42 on peak. Otherwise $36 Lovely place for swimming and water sports
