Ik raad niet aan om daar te gaan tijdens windige omstandigheden als je er echt niet klaar voor bent! Breng er twee nachten door in de zomer (in de tent) en het was sooo koud en windig! En je kunt de douches niet te voet bereiken, moet je rijden. Aan de andere kant, de plaats en het strand zijn mooi.

We regularly head over to Butlers Beach. It’s dog friendly as long as you have control of them. It’s always packed on all holidays so if you can only go during school holidays you will have to book. Otherwise just turn up and pay and grab your access key. Clean toilets and showers ( with great pressure) are located at the entrance. Long drops (eco toilets) are also located throughout the park. The beach is just fantastic with great fishing spots for salmon, tommies, gar and squid. Sunsets are memorable. Fully self contained pods are also available if you don’t have a camper or van. Many private places to be able to camp or larger open areas suitable for larger groups. Remember this park is a conservation type camping ground so snakes are about during their breeding season or warmer climates.
