Beautiful and quiet campsite on the edge of the lagoon with good views. Drop toilets are clean and free to use barbecues. Not bookable online until April 2026 so just pay the camp host on arrival

Geweldige plek. Campingvergoedingen zijn standaard voor DBCA ($ 15 per volwassene / nacht) en hebben een parkpas nodig of betalen een nationaal parkvergoeding van $ 17 per voertuig - kan dit doen op het station als je het park binnenkomt. Camphost was geweldig. Goede grootte spots maar kan druk worden in het weekend & niet te boeken.

We kwamen omdat ik goede aanbevelingen op CamperMate over deze camping zag. Helaas hadden we een verschrikkelijke ervaring, de vrijwilliger van april 2025 is een oude man , erg onaangenaam en gemiddeld. Ook de prijzen zijn 15$ voor elke volwassene + 17$ voor voertuig- erg duur voor een camping die alleen toilet biedt. Ook is er geen receptie in het hele gebied, behalve voor punt op de top van de heuvel.

Beste camping in Peron. Geweldige BBQ, prachtig strand en uitkijkpunt om de zonsondergang te bekijken. Voor schaduwen is een awning goed

Goed uitgeruste overnachtingsplaats: barbecue en picknick tafels bij het water, schone toiletten. Ongelooflijk uitzicht, de moeite waard! Toegang is alleen mogelijk met 4WD omdat het zand zacht is (20km van het NP betaalstation). Na 8km is er een punt om de bandenspanning op te blazen en te deflateren. De nacht kost $15 per persoon en moet in contant geld worden geplaatst in een envelop aan de voorkant van de NP. Telstra receptie beschikbaar.

Echt mooie bush camping met schone toiletten en een geweldig uitzicht op de lagune.

It seems to be an amazing spot but always crowned with RVs (you can’t book so make sure to arrive in the morning). We paid the fees for this campsite in the trust box at the entrance of the park (as it is the easiest road in the park) but the sign “campsite full” was 5 km after the trust box ? The other campsites are 40km far in the park (1h driving) and roads are harder.

! Need 4WD ! Station to inflate and deflate before the off-road. Good place but too windy.. But the landscape is insane and volunteers are really kind !

Cam only get down there with a 4 wheel drive. We saw the "suitable for any vehicle type" on this app and paid our entry fees into the box and drove into the park, only to find a sign that said the road we needed to drive down to get to the camp was 4 when drive only.
