WINDY VERY VERY WINDY

We verbleven op site 3 in een 19,6 van, zou voorzichtig zijn met een in-road van daar naar beneden. sites zijn slecht geteld en dom uitgelegd... Maar we waren direct op het strand en hield van het.

Mooie plek bij het water. we hadden een 2 WD die ok was met een steile / ongelijke bit maar het goed beheerst.

Campings op Eagle Bluff, Fowlers Camp, Whalebone Bay & Goulet Bluff bevinden zich in het gebied dat algemeen bekend staat als South Peron, dat nu wordt aangeduid als een Nationaal Park van Klasse A. Boekingen voor datums na 1 januari 2025 zijn nu beschikbaar via het ParkStay online boekingssysteem van DBCA. Vanaf 1 januari 2025 zijn er geen boekingen meer beschikbaar via het Shark Bay Discovery & Visitor Centre. Bezoek parkstay.dbca.wa.gov.au om uw camping te boeken.

We boekten eerst in het toeristische informatiecentrum bij Coral Bay, het was 15 aud per auto. Volledig de moeite waard. Er zijn geen faciliteiten. We boekten dezelfde ochtend en er waren veel gratis spots.

Large, beautiful area with spots right at the beach or up the hill. Beautiful sea view with amazing sunsets! There are no facilities, please put your toilet paper in the bin, not in the nature!! You have to book your spot at the visitor Center in Denham, via email (including credit card details) or phone (only Telstra) You can only book your spot for the same day and can only stay for one night, so you have to switch between the four different campgrounds if you want to stay for a couple of days. We stayed for 6 nights and switching back and forth to the different sites was no problem at all!

Super nice experience! We were almost on the beach, just one other camper around. Beautiful night sky. Very windy though so I’d make sure to pick a spot that’s more protected from the wind because it got quite intense throughout the night.

Very rough corrugated dirt road getting in. Lots of small and interesting places to camp. Was windy when we were there.
