Verblijf hier voor 3 nachten in het offseason en gelukkig genoeg om een plaats te krijgen zonder voorafgaande reservering, maar deze sites boeken van tevoren in het drukke seizoen. Toegankelijk met een 2WD. Mooie camping verborgen achter duinen maar direct op het strand. Sommige absoluut verbazingwekkend snorkelen met gezonde koraal en veel zeeleven.

A wonderful campground with a nice beach and snorkeling area and the most caring and friendly hosts Terri & John. Next time we'll be there we'd watch out to have everything shut and locked one hour before sunset. There are lots of mice around and one made it into our campervan, probably while we're having tea around sunsettime and had the door open. I'd recommend Kurrajong nevertheless!

Nice camp, right behind the dunes. There is no phone reception, but our Telstra WiFi hotspot managed to get some reception. Snorkelling was pretty good, we saw a turtle and quite a few different fish. Best to go in the morning and right in front of the toilet block (in the camp without generators). Dont leave you water canister outside! A big kangaroo came during the night and nearly managed to drag ours away. Only a few rocks could scare him away. We also got visited by crabs and some kind of mice during the night.

Unfortunately the whole Cape Range Area is fully booked until the end of October. You can just find (if you’re lucky) a free spot when someone cancel and was so pleased to inform the park:. Some camp grounds still have free spots and no one shows up or canceled. I checked it today and drove around the whole area. It’s necessary to improve that system, cos a lot people book early and just block their spots. Should be forced to confirm their booking 24h before arrival, otherwise the spot would be put on the market again!!!

Amazing campground! You have to book your spot during the peak season. Toilets were clean, sites are large and sunset view from the dunes is amazing!

Really lovely campsite. Good beach with snorkeling, close to the oyster stacks and turquoise bay, clean toilets, beautiful sunsets. And we got to see lots of kangaroos! Ashton??+Wayne??
