Dumbleyung caravan park is directly opposite the shire offices and you can book there. If closed find a spot and pay the next opportunity. There is a simple but new and clean camp kitchen undercover which isn’t locked. The toilets and ablution amenities are locked and a key comes when you book. If you get there too late to pay I’m sure other campers will assist with a key. Same key for male and female doors. Sites have power and water most are drive through sites. The park is a stones throw from town and the supermarket. The park is very neat and tidy with some shade and a lawn section for kids to play. Down the lane opposite side of the park from the shire offices is a great kids swing park and very near that is the shire swimming pool which is across the road from the small supermarket. All very compact. Within 30 meters is the bluebird world water speed monument to Donald Campbell. The local pub has also some literature on the record setting on Lake Dumbleyung, in the rear dining room. A nice friendly little town.
