Do Not be fooled by the pictures on the website. This caravan park is atrocious, filthy kitchen and disgusting showers. To be honest I don’t think they’ve been cleaned since 1993. The kitchen stinks like old rancid cooking oil, mold and rotting food. The kitchen held some treasures that they shouldn’t have! Eg hair mixed with rat feces, flies stuck to fly strips on the ceiling and a dried fish skin. The showers and laundry are disgusting, you’re cleaner not having a shower

Peaceful spot and lovely fellow campers, but unfortunately the facilities were poor. Cold showers only, the button on the outside is supposed to give you hot water but none of them seem to work. The state of one of the shower blocks was appalling, water logged, covered in dirt and people’s body hair. I gave the benefit of the doubt the first morning but the next morning it was exactly the same. Doesn’t seem as though there’s anyone checking/cleaning the facilities. The kitchen was good.

We maakten een last-minute beslissing om te gaan kamperen over het nieuwe jaar en natuurlijk waren alle mainstream campings uitbetaald. We waren zo aangenaam verrast door hoe goed deze camping was. De campings waren groot en plat en goed gedrenkt (altijd belangrijk tijdens regenachtige zomerdagen!), de voorzieningen waren schoon en netjes, er was genoeg veilig parkeren voor onze boot en het zwembad was een extra bonus. We hadden een 4yr en 9 maanden oud bij ons en het voelde veilig. De gastheren waren ook leuk!

Very enjoyable stay. We had a few weeks stay on and off and enjoyed every minute. Very congenial hosts. Thanks Chris and Fraser

Very rustic camp but amenities very clean. The hot pools are open to public during certain hours but campers can swim before they open. Pools emptied & cleaned every night & temperature delicious. Check ahead during March thru Sept as very busy with kiwifruit pickers! Thanks Chris & Fraser for a lovely stay.
