Nice little walk. The waterfall was was stunning and the water very refreshing.

We deden de weg naar de waterval en het was prachtig. Gelukkig vroegen we rond als bijna eindigde op de andere weg naar de lookout die chu we hoorden is heerlijk. waterval is klein en het water is bevriezen, maar het is verfrissend na de wandeling in op een warme dag.

Geweldige wandeling in een prachtig bos met een prachtig uitzicht op de top.Het is soms een beetje stijf, maar is nog steeds gemakkelijk, zelfs voor casual wandelaars

Die loop naar de top duurt ongeveer 40 minuten, en naar de waterval en terug is het nog een uur tenminste.

Een pad naar de berg, de andere naar de waterval. Om beide te doen, tellen 3:30 lopen in totaal. Aanbevolen wandelschoenen. Beide zijn mooi en de moeite waard!

Totally beautiful, the walk is absolutely worth it! It took us about 80 minutes to get to the waterfall. The track goes up and down, so wear firm shoes! We were alone at the waterfall and even bathed in it (nice and cold).

Definitely worth a stop on your way to Tauranga! Type in "Mountain road" in your navi, you'll pass a yellow sign pointing towards otanewainuku. Keep driving until you see the car park for it. 90 min amazing trek deep into the rainforest. The waterfall is very rewarding! I feel revitalised (and hungry! Bring food and water!). Didn't spot any Kiwis :-P but there were so many other birds around! There are heaps more treks here: some 3,4 and even 8 hours! Could spend the day here but we didn't start the hike until 4pm!
