From around midnight Friday until midday Saturday, there is a moderate risk that thunderstorms may become severe about the northern half of the North Island, as depicted on the chart. Severe thunderstorms will produce localised downpours with rainfall rates of 25 to 40 mm per hour or possibly more. The risk of severe thunderstorms eases in northern parts of the area from around dawn onwards.
Rainfall of this intensity can cause surface and/or flash flooding, especially about low-lying areas such as streams, rivers or narrow valleys, and may also lead to slips.
Driving conditions will also be hazardous with surface flooding and poor visibility in heavy rain.
Note: A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are favourable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area. People in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and monitor for possible Severe Thunderstorm Warnings.

Een geweldige wandeling met een prachtig uitzicht! De langere loop is 1,5 uur en is zeker de moeite waard. Nadat je uit het bos bent gekomen, net buiten de schakeling voor de kortere loop, krijg je een aantal van de beste uitzichten op de wandeling. Wees echter voorzichtig, er was nogal wat gebroken glas in de parkeerplaats en er waren duidelijk wat breuken de laatste tijd. Ik parkeerde net buiten de parkeerplaats aan de kant van de straat die me veel veiliger voelde.
Leuke wandeling, de moeite waard in mooi weer. Wandelde de hele weg naar het strand en terug langs
Mooie wandeling. Niet moeilijk te doen op alle - zeer gemakkelijk en ik ben geen geweldige wandelaar!
Very nice walk with a beautiful lookout. Easy and not long!
Good walk, the detour to the flow worms was nice even during the day as there is a small waterfall there that you can walk underneath.
On a sunny winters day the walk up to the pa sites and back down to Bryan's Beach was wonderful. Stunning views.
We did the full loop- coming back along the beach and LOVED it. Fair climb but it was gradual, we were quite surprised how high we were by the time we got to the top due to the lack of effort it required. Wonderful views! Once you are off the gravel as well you can walk in bare feet for almost half the walk! Just take the exit off the beach with all the wooden kiwis (we missed it) though it was an easy wander back to the car park. Reccomended!
Less than 1h taking the shortest loop, very enjoyable !
We chose the large loop for more than 2 hours of walking (via the beach). That's wonderful. The top view is amazing. To make absolutely. shorter ballad possible.
