Een beetje ver van het centrum van de stad. De badkamers zijn oud en vallen uit elkaar (plaatjes laten verliezen en zeer klein). De keuken is vernieuwd. Het gebied van de camping voelt niet bespaard. Ik zou kinderen niet laten spelen buiten de camping na zonsondergang. De keuken werd gesloten om 9pm en geopend om 7am.

Campground is in a good spot where we could walk down the street to view the lake at sunset & get picked up for our dinner at the Mitai Māori Village. The bathrooms were in good shape & the showers had hot water and good pressure. I’m sure it’s even worse in the summer months, but being so close to the water, there was quite a few mosquitos. The kitchen space isn’t as big as some other paid sites, but still has basically anything you’d need.

Some good bits some not so good. Bad bits: Dump station still not operational, no date for reopening, no information given on the booking details/email etc. Still advertised on the Web site. Toilet block dated but good hot showers and nice and warm. Good bits. Good location for walking into town or to the gondola. Level pitches done with hedges between. On site hot pools are a great bonus and trump some the bad bits. Some of the staff were great some were clearly having a bad day!

If there is no other place to stay it’s fine for a night. But this place is just run down. Kitchen was supposed to open at 7am, but they didn’t open the doors until after 8 am. Not so nice if you want to have an early morning leave.

Much in need of renovation in most areas although the kitchen was functional. , Hot showers good but cubicles very poor. Renovation picture on wall but no date for completion. Hot tubs very hot but rather shoddy surroundings, don’t expect a spa experience. No water on our pitch, only electricity and the dump station out of action with no ETA. WiFi advertised as free but only free for first 300MB after that you pay per day. Quiet site from external noise with helpful staff on the plus side.

Het is oké voor een nacht, maar niet meer. ik denk dat het heel duur is voor wat je krijgt. warme zwembaden, regelmatig klein zwembad en een kleine speeltuin. douches zijn erg klein en je moet voorzichtig zijn anders zal alles nat na. Het is niet echt schoon maar voor een nacht is het oké. Als je gaat langer verblijven zou ik een andere camping aanbevelen.

We betaalden $177 voor een "ocean view" site. Het was geen uitzicht op de oceaan - we waren vier rijen terug van het water met meerdere RV's voor ons. De camping is extreem overvol. RV's, auto's en gezinnen zijn stevig verpakt samen met zeer weinig ruimte tussen de sites. We kwamen met onze baby in de hoop op een ontspannen dag bij het zwembad, maar het was zo druk dat er zelfs geen zitplaatsen beschikbaar waren. Voor de prijs, dit voelde oververkocht en slecht beheerd. ik zou aanbevelen om uw geld te besparen en te kiezen

redelijke prijs, loopafstand tot het centrum van Rotorura, gratis hot tubs op het terrein en een klein zwembad. thermisch gebied achter en warm strand. keukenruimte voldoende, eigen potten en pannen nodig. douches warm

Warme douches, goede keuken. Rustige en gemakkelijke wandeling naar de stad. We vonden het zo veel we verbleven een extra nacht.

Not a bad site at all it is dated but has everything you need. Geothermal activity on the site which is cool. Free hot showers. Free hot tubs. Free cooking area with plenty space. Overall nice camp site.
